Company History
Specialty Cable Corporation began as a part of the Lewis Engineering
Company of Naugatuck, Connecticut. In 1942, Lewis formed its Wire
Division which manufactured highly-engineered wire and cable products
for military and aerospace applications. Our foundation was based on
engineering and manufacturing to the stringent requirements of the
military and aerospace markets. Former names associated with
Specialty Cable include Revere and Pirelli Wire & Cable.

Developing cable products to perform in a variety of unique applications
drives our innovation and quality improvement skills. We continue to be a
leader in development of specialized wire and cable technology. Our
products include some of the most advanced interconnect products in the
industry.

Our reputation for quality has helped us build strong and lasting
partnerships with our customers in such diverse applications as
aerospace, electronics, downhole monitoring and temperature sensing.
