M5086/2 MIL-W-5086/2 is a general purpose electrical wire used in a broad range of commercial and industrial electronic applications. M5086/2 wire is used where there might be exposure to abrasion, impact, cut-through, or chemicals. This family of wires offers great resistance to moisture, fuels, hydraulic fluids, and other common industrial solvents. M5086/2 MIL-W-5086/2 may be used for airframe wire, rated for temperatures from -55°C to 105°C.
