SCC PARTNERS WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT (UCONN)

SCC is proud to announce our partnership with the University Of Connecticut (UCONN) Institute of Material Science (IMS) through membership in UCONN’s Industrial Affiliates Program (IAP).

UCONN IMS IAP provides convenient access to resources at the Institute of Materials Science to assist industry with short-term, materials-related research, development and production projects.

This membership allies UCONN with SCC as technical and problem-solving partners.

The SCC Engineering, Research & Development Team joined UCONN’S IAP in January 2015. In the short period of time since then, we have made significant progress in constructing next generation, low weight and small diameter aircraft wire by drawing on the technical knowledge and instrumentation resources of IMS. Our continued partnership with IMS at UCONN ensures we will remain at the forefront of high performance wire and cable design and manufacturing well into the future.
